Marvel Teases Never-Before-Seen MCU Phase One Photos

More BTS images of MCU's Phase One movies are coming for hardcore fans.

With Anthony and Joe Russo's Avengers: Infinity War, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is concluding its first saga before opening a whole new page of superheroes and their daring exploits. After Thanos is done with his invasion--one way or another, fans won't be seeing most of the old-timers from the first three phases anymore. Beloved actors and actresses will leave the MCU and let the next generations take over the vast new realm of possibilities.

It's always an astounding realization when one looks back at Iron Man and absorbs the ten-year accumulation of worldbuilding and characterization. We've all come a long way, and Marvel Studios made sure you remember that. Marvel Studios teased a few images from behind the scenes of the first MCU installments, from Iron Man to Thor to The Avengers. They are all included in Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years book, out this November.

The images harken back to iconic moments, which fans may have seen dozens of times, now with new perspectives at the sets or the cast and crew. The first one, from Iron Man, features Robert Downey Jr., as Tony Stark/Iron Man, when the billionaire genius is testing one of his new suits and saying "Yeah, I can fly." The Captain America: The First Avenger image offers a look at Chris Evans, being filmed up-close, as Steve Rogers/Captain America in a lab of Project: Rebirth. Jon Favreau and Scarlet Johansson are in the Iron Man 2 picture, when actor/director Favreau's Happy first met Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in a boxing ring.

Natalie Portman is seen in the Thor picture as her character Jane Foster works in her lab, while the last one features Tom Hiddleston as Loki in The Avengers. This is another part of Infinity War promo campaign, and MCU fans will surely be excited for more BTS images from Phase 2 and 3 movies.
