Though Enfys Nest is still masked, we now know more key details about this character.
We had a look at Han's early enemies in the first bits of Solo: A Star Wars Story's promotional campaign. The lack thereof worries fans about this already troublesome Star Wars spin-off. From his casting till now, Alden Ehrenreich hasn't convinced the opinioniated fanbase. After Phil Lord and Christopher Miller left the project due to creative conflict with Lucasfilms, Ron Howard stepped in to finish the half-filmed project.
Though the villain Enfys Nest is still masked, we now know more key details. According to Twitter account Thomas Storaï, this is a female villain. The English translation reads: "Enfys Nest, an extremely dangerous marauder, has quickly forged an infamous reputation for herself and her gang of pirates – the Cloud Riders." Rumors indicate actress Lily Newmark (Emerald City) plays this character or a different actress who signed on for more movies.
Except for the Expanded Universe's characters like Asajj Ventress, the Star Wars canon lacks the presence of female foes, with only Captain Phasma as a First Order officer. It looks like this tradition might continue because the source reported that Enfys Nest won't play a big role in Han's first adventure as Emily Clark's Qi’ra and Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian aren't friendly with Han yet. However, Nest and her group of outlaws can play as the third party, one important aspect in this kind of action-adventure.
Information is still concealed, but at most we can expect more details after the early screening at Cannes this May 15.
