The Iron Man actor has sent each of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 crewmembers a personalized set chair.
The production of MCU's Avengers movies wrapped several days ago, and Robert Downey Jr. makes sure the steadfast crew feel appreciated after nearly one year of hard work.
The Iron Man actor has sent each of the crewmembers a personalized set chair, according to Patrick Istorico, an Atlanta film grip working on set of the huge project.
As seen in Istorico's Instagram post, the chair has the crewmember's name in the front and an Infinity War logo in the back. On the side, there is a metal piece engraved with a few words: "HEART FELT THANX FROM THE CENTER OF MY ARC REACTOR." next to an Iron Man image. Though this points at Downey's on-screen persona, the gift is still from the actor himself, with his signature under the playful thank-you.
The MCU started with Downey 9 years ago, and the beloved, influential actor has been keeping a great relationship with his co-workers. Captain America actor Chris Evans recently praised Downey, calling him "a wonderful guy," "so talented, so experienced, and so supportive."
He really brings everybody in to the group and makes sure everyone feels welcome, especially on this last one.
On a side note, this gesture can also be read as the franchise-leading actor's parting gift. From the marketing material of upcoming Avengers movies, fans speculate Iron Man's death be one of the most possible. If this were the case, Downey would leave an immense void in the MCU for the next generations to fill.
